2002 FLY-IN INFORMATION


Plans are already on the drawing board so to speak for this years Fly-In .
The annual Fly-In is always held the first weekend of August
and has been a successful event for many a year.
We have ample camping areas and lots of room for aircraft.
We have many volunteers who Help in just about every aspect from air traffic control to clean up .
The Petitcodiac St.John Ambulance is always on hand.
The antique automobile association has come in year after year
with many beautiful antique cars for all to enjoy.
Enjoy Bingo games in the afternooon a great way to get out of the sun and win nice prizes .
We also have a cake baking contest and a silent auction on the cakes .
There is also a flee market with loads of aircraft parts, books,
many crafts and household items just about anything can be found there.
Traditional candy drop for kids. The pilots have their games such as flour bombings , spot landing etc.

On the first day of fly_in we serve three meals
Breakfast Which consist of bacon & sausage, eggs, pancakes
served with pure N.B. maple sugar, panfries, toast, tea or coffee.
Lunch of barbequed hotdogs or hamburgers
Supper is started at 6:00 P.M. we serve a great steak dinner barbecued on the grill to your fancy with all the fixings . In the evening we have a big bond fire with loads of marshmallows and a live band to dance too or simply to listen too . Sunday starts with our yummy sunday breakfast same as above menu. The cake judging contest and silent auction for the cakes . The pilots are busy in compitition once again.
In the afternoon we have our very competitive Down East Auction
with many prizes to bid on the items are donated from local business
and many members of the club donate an item to be auctioned it's great fun!
Were hoping to host a young eagles program again this year
however this is still in planning stages .
